A nineteenth-century windmill preserved in the village of Heisykha
A wooden windmill is the only landmark in the village of Heisykha. The mill was built by the village resident Havrylo Rozumenko in 1896-1898. After the village was electrified, there was no need for the mill, as an electric one was built. But fortunately, the villagers realised the need to repair the windmill. It has even name - it is called Rozumenkiv Mill.
In the spring of 2021, it was renovated and now it is a real landmark for the village's farmers. The villagers planned to initiate the inclusion of the mill in the register of monuments in 2021.
